LASCA - Large Scale Computing with Autoencoders - Application to Power Systems

Project LASCA(*) aims at exploring the properties of special neural networks denoted as "autoencoders" in helping to solve a number of large scale problems in Power Systems, by embedding these special neural networks in the optimization algorithms.

(*) LASCA (in portuguese): splinter. In the Paleolitic, tools were manufactured by removing splinters from rocks.

 

This site allows you to have a perspective of project LASCA and to have access to written material and software.

The section ABOUT describes some of the objectives of the project.

The section PUBLICATIONS allows you to retrive the most important publications of the project. There is however a CAVEAT: the applicable Copyright Laws and regulations must at all times be respected. Therefore, publications should only be retrieved if for purposes associated with the LASCA project.

Basic codes in C++ are available (access inside the section SOFTWARE).
